I went to see his Firing Cheeseballs at a dog tour. It was honestly the funniest standup I've been to. There 70 people crammed into a local working mans club and he had a drink with us during the interval.

Sound like the sort of div they get on goggle box whose comedy palate stetches to the likes of the kumars or birds of a feather
Chubby, Manning, Jimmy Jones & Davidson have the ability to make me laugh. TV wise I have to constantly recycle shows like fools, steptoe or more recently the office or Partridge. Anything after that gets a wry smirk at the very best

I really liked the first series of Man Down, but the second was poor, but presumably they had had to rapidly re-write it after Mayall died. Probably a bit unfair to judge that one against normal standards.
I saw his 'Back of my Mum's Head' live show at the South Bank. Very funny indeed.
